• How did you come up with the name Seiren?

Seirến:  from the Ancient Greek : Siren, spirit and essence of the water.  At Seiren Films, we’re ocean lovers and we thought that the presence of a Greek siren in our name was a beautiful and poetic signature for our company.

• Who is Maria Laura Ruggiero?

Maria Laura Ruggiero is the President of Seiren Films, a versatile filmmaker and screenwriter. She loves writing and movies,therefore, she loves writing movies! Her favorite filmmakers are Tim Burton, Wim Wenders,Julio Medem, Pedro Almodovar, Guillermo del Toro and many more. She likes vanilla ice cream and enjoys the ocean when is blue. She´s scared of fish and tries to exorcise her phobia by adding tons of Jellyfish to her site.  She adores travelling and retro bikes. She wants to go to Tibet some day.
