Laika, Albina and Muschka 

"Laika, Albina and Muschka" is an animation piece losely based on the story of the 3 Russian dogs sent to space to experiment with living creatures orbiting the earth.

After undergoing training with two other dogs(Albina and Muscka), Laika was selected to be the occupant of the Soviet spacecraft Sputnik 2 and was launched into space on 3 November 1957.

Laika died a few hours after launch from stress and overheating.The true cause of her death was not made public until decades after the flight. Some former Soviet scientists have since expressed regret that Laika was allowed to die.

The film is an animation piece in development stage and will be produced entirely by Seiren Films.  The animation will combine different traditional and digital techniques to create a unique and intense universe.
